IP University, Dwarka held it's prelims for the poetry recitation competition for Anugoonj, the annual fest, on the 12th of Febraury in C-Block Seminar Hall. The event was organised for literature enthusiasts who enjoy writing and reciting poems. The event was held in English as well as in Hindi and was compered by Vasudha and Esha from USICT.

Tanya Aneja, Anita Pandey, Aadya Shree Dutta, Shubhangi Mehrish and Azad Khan, from different departments, participated in the event. Most participants recited their own poems and impressed the judges, Mr. Sanatan and Mr. Ritesh. Mr. Sanatan also gave a few pointers to the participants so that they could improve upon their skills, and did his bit to encourage the participants. Mr. Ritesh expressed his happiness in his humorous speech and said that he hopes his students will contribute to the art, through their talent.

Shubhangi Mehrish and Azad Khan, received the first and the second prizes respectively in English Poem Recitation category while Tanya Aneja and Anita Pandey received the first and the second prizes in the Hindi category.
